Will be sworn into office this Sunday
Burleson County Attorney Susan Deski, who is about to take over felony prosecutions in addition to her existing misdemeanor cases, will be sworn into office at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1.
Deski will be sworn in by District Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in the District Courtroom at the Burleson County Courthouse Annex.
She will begin her new duties after the Labor Day holiday on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
